We are lucky to have this beautiful pristine landscape right on our doorstep. Nestled on the shores of Lake Wakatipu with the majestic Remarkables mountain range as a backdrop. Queenstown is a hub of activity all year round and you will never be short of something to do here. If you would like to escape the hustle and bustle and source some relaxation time from the mountains then hitting the Queenstown trail is for you. The trail runs right through Queenstown, covering a staggering 120km in total and connecting some of our favourite spots like Jacks point, Arrowtown and concluding in the Gibbston valley region. Its an excellent day out whether explored by foot or on two wheels.

Situated East of Queenstown you will find our most popular region. They first started bottling out here in 1987 and haven’t looked back since. The main reason we operate in Gibbston valley is for its wonderful choice of wineries and the cycle trail connecting them. At the regions founding winery, Gibbston Valley, lan Brady had a mission to spread word about this excellent grape growing region, no one thought grapes could grow 45 degrees south of the equator but the hot days and cool nights provide the perfect conditions for our signature wines. Along with being the highest sub region, Gibbston is home to some eclectic eateries and craft beer suppliers, so everyones tastebuds are catered for as you explore. Gibbston Valley is the home to some smaller boutique producers who pack a punch in the taste department. We would love for you to join us and learn more about our back yard and why we, at Fork and Pedal hold it in such high regard.
